Nations set out targets for cut in emissions

Posted by Richard Strong

I just came across this article in my daily search on Google for news relating to the Copenhagen accord.

Above is the full article.

However in summary: the article stated that the majority of the world’s leading economies had filed their targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions with the UN yesterday. The article goes on to criticise how some of the nations had submitted a target range (5-25% by 2020) instead of a set target (25% by 2020).  In addition the IPCC is criticised for providing unsubstantiated claims.
